pumpkin butter

Breakfast inspiration! I enjoyed my mugcake, especially with this Deep House track from @coeo_official_ . Lovely Sublime sound on @razorntape records. A wonderful remake, which gives you a great feeling! My mugcake was a bit special. I love pumpkin and wanted to experiment with it. So I made a couple interesting recipes. This time my pumpkin butter! 

It’s so delicious, it’s sweet, smooth and still a real pumpkin flavour. Pumpkin butter is very popular in America, but I didn’t know it at all! I love pumpkin and i’m trying a lot of new things with pumpkin lately. I’m really excited about the outcomes so, i’m sharing it with you! Pumpkin butter is very easy to make and you can use it for a lot of things. Think about adding in cakes, banana bread, oatmeal, desserts, on toast of even in a cocktail!! Lots of possibilities with an easy recipe!

Ingredients pumpkin butter:
400 gr mashed pumpkin
60 ml water
30 ml mable syrup
25 gr brown sugar
25 gr sugar
1/2 grated Granny Smith apple
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

For the mashed pumpkin you need to cook it first untill it’s soft. Cut the pumpkin into cubes and cook them for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, peal the apple and grate it. Put al the ingredients in a sauce pan. Untill ready, add the mashed pumpkin. Mix it all together, let it cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Don’t forget to stir. I used it to make a mugcake. I added 1 tablespoon to my mugcake mixture. And decorate is with it again and some pecans. I hope you’ll like it!
